Cantonment Board Elections 2021: Every Party Position
According to unverified results, PTI is in the top
with 63 seats, followed by PML-N with 59 and independent candidates with 52
seats.
According to the unofficial and unverified
results of the cantonment board elections, the PTI has emerged as the biggest
winner throughout the country while the PML-N came close and independent
secured 52 seats which was really unexpected.
The PTI succeeded to safe 63 seats while the PML-N won 59
seats from across the country.
Contenders who won the elections as independent
candidates secured 52 seats in total.
Among other Opposition
parties, the PPP won 17, the Jamaat-e-Islami seven and the Awami National Party
two. MQM won 10, while Balochistan Awami Party secured two.
Province wise results
PTI won maximum number of
seats in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 18, 28 in Punjab, 14 in Sindh and three in
Balochistan.
PML-N won highest 51 seats
in Punjab, securing 5 seats in KP, 3 seats in Sindh and didn’t won any seat in
Balochistan.
PPP was unexpectedly incapable
to setback PTI in Sindh. They have tied with PTI with 14 seats. They won 3
seats in KP and didn’t won any seat in Punjab or Baluchistan.
Independent candidates was
able to won 32 seats in Punjab, giving hard time to PTI and PML-N. They protected
9 seats in KP, 7 seats in Sindh and 4 seats in Balochistan.
MQM won 10 seats in Sindh
and didn’t won any seats in any other province.
JI won five in Sindh and
two in Punjab.
ANP won two seats in KP
while BAP won two in Balochistan.
